Dynamics 365 - User Session Management

Now System administrators can Manage timeout sessions for users, for some reason organizations can force its users to re authenticate after a specific amount of time, or to auto sign out from the application for inactive sessions case, where the users leave the application without any activity.



To set your Dynamics 365 instance timeout session, follow the below steps,

1- Navigate to Settings >> Administration


2- Click on System Settings


3- Click on the General tab


4- Scroll down, and from the timeout session settings set the timeout session time and when to warn the user.



5- If you want to set the Inactivity timeout, underneath the session timeout section, you will find the Set inactivity timeout section, enable it, and enter the duration of inactivity before timeout and when to warn the user.
