Dynamics 365 - how to add a non-interactive user


A non-interactive user in Dynamics 365 is a user used for integration, to push or get data from and into Dynamics 365, it doesn't consume a licence in your instance, however, you can have up to 5 non-interactive users in your online instance.



What are the steps to add a non-interactive user in Dynamics 365?

1- Add a licensed user in the Office 365 Admin Center
2- Go to Dynamics 365 > Settings > Security > Users
3- Go to your created user, scroll down, set the the Access Mode to "Non-Interactive"
4- Go back to the Office 365 Admin Center
5- Remove the license from this user
